This book 5 and the next book 6 (Josie and Haeden’s story) both deal with human women moving past rape and finding a path forward with hunky blue suede devils on ice planet Not Hoth. I prefer the books that emphasize fast fun, action and hot nooky over the books that fall more on slow, sweet, and overcoming-obstacles side of romance. You should start with Book 1, but after that, you don’t lose too much taking some out of order, or skipping an occasional book entirely if the plot isn’t quite your speed.
